An introduction to digital SLR cameras, written for beginners, which includes basic information on exactly what a digital SLR is and how it works. Contains all basic SLR terminology and an explanation of what each term means and how it is put to use to take photographs. Takes a beginner from the first moment the camera is taken out of the box (including how to set it up initially to be ready to take the best possible photographs), through all of the various camera modes and settings.
